Slate Roof Inspections

If you are a real estate agent, property manager or building owner and you need an inspection for the sale of a property, we can provide inspections services.

We inspect slate roofs for homeowners looking to purchase a home with slate roof. Don't wait until after the sale of the house to get the roof inspected. Have the slate roof inspected by a professional before you sign a contract. 100% of our inspection fee will be credited towards any repairs necessary. There is no inspection fee for inspections not involving the sale of real estate.

Over the years, we have saved new homeowners thousands of dollars by revealing faulty workmanship, problem areas and issues not addressed in the overall home inspection.

We can provide roofing certifications for some slate roofs.

Call us now to schedule an inspection. (410) 889-7391.

Flat Roof Inspection

Flat Roof?

Don't despair, your flat roof doesn't have to be a constant source of problems and worry.

We work with EPDM Rubber and TPO membranes. We do not work with hot asphalt or torch down materials.

Main house flat roof inspections are $49.00, and if we do any work resulting from the inspection, we will credit the inspection fee towards the job.  (Walkable porch roof inspections are free).

We will inspect the seams, flashing and condition of the exisitng roof surface. Recommendations will be made and you will be provided with a written estimate. Call us to arrange an inspection in the Baltimore area. (410) 889-7931.

David Robinson's Book on Slate Inspections is Available on Amazon

Are you buying a home that has an old slate roof? Confident that the roof will keep your family dry? Don't make the mistake of buying a house with a slate roof without consulting a slate roofer. Hire someone that specializes in slate roofing, not shingle roofing, not tar roofing but slate roofing. There are probably half a dozen slate roofer's in your area (if you are lucky). They seem to be sprouting like weeds in our market. Usually, your home inspector will recommend that a licensed slate roofer be consulted before an offer is made.
